As a mother, I always want the best for my children. As much as I can, I do not want them to experience the harsh part of life. I want them to enjoy their childhood, and live comfortably, especially inside our home. That is why I always make it a point that I am doing everything I can to make sure that they will get nothing less.

For example, I had fixed awnings installed in our front porch, as my youngest love to stay there in the afternoon. Sun’s heat at those hours of the day is dangerous, so instead of stopping her from staying there, I thought of a way to block the sun.

Also, I placed retractable awnings in each of their rooms, so they can choose to enjoy sun’s light anytime they want. Luckily, the awning’s material has designs that kids love, so they did not really have any problems with it.

I hope I can do more, but for now, those are the only remedies I can give them. I am hoping that those awnings and the warmth of love will be more than enough.
