I had never heard of link building, until I saw an ad in the paper for a link building services company that needed a secretary. I had been out of work for six weeks at that point and just needed to find something that could pay the bills. I was hoping that they did not want someone who had link building experience because that would definitely leave me out.

My interview went really well with the manager of the link building services company and he told me that the person they were looking for, needed to only have some simple computer experience and good people skills. He told me that I would need to learn the business once I got the job, so that I could explain different things to clients, but that they would train me in those areas and reading literature that they would provide me would also aid in that area.

I waited to hear back to see if I got the job and three days later, I got the call. They had chosen me out of the other twenty applicants that they interviewed to give the job to. I was so excited to be starting a new job and learning about something new too.
