The six petrol mowers that we use for our farm were all bought from the same store and at the same time. I had been given a big bonus at work and we could not think of anything better to do with the money other than buy enough petrol mowers for each family member and then we could knock out the mowing in a lot less time.

We used to have just two rotary lawnmowers and we all took turns by two mowing every weekend. It took up most of the two days and by the time that Thursday would roll around, the grass would be looking too long again and we would all dread the weekend.

After we bought the six new petrol mowers, we sold the two rotary lawnmowers and used that money to buy six gas cans and fill them up so we could have them close to the spots we were mowing and not have to come back up the house and refill. Having the six mowers has cut our mowing time down to just a few hours on the weekends and we have a lot more spare time. They are the smartest things that we have ever bought.
